Machine Polishing, Not Guesswork

Swirls and light scratches aren’t in your paint. They’re in the clear coat above it.

Paint correction is machine polishing that levels out the microscopic damage in your clear coat — swirl marks from improper washing, light scratches, water spots, and UV oxidation — to restore the true gloss and clarity underneath. It’s a controlled process: we measure clear coat thickness first, then use the least aggressive method that gets the result you’re after.

It’s also the foundation everything else builds on. A ceramic coating or paint protection film locks in whatever condition your paint is already in — correcting it first is what actually makes the difference show.

What proper correction actually gets you.

True gloss and clarity

Removes the microscopic clear coat damage that dulls your paint’s reflection, restoring the depth and shine it had before years of washing and daily wear.

Better coating & PPF results

Ceramic coating and paint protection film both lock in whatever condition the paint is in when applied — correcting first is what makes the final result actually look its best.

Real resale value protection

Swirl marks and oxidation are some of the first things a buyer notices. Correcting them restores a cleaner, better-kept appearance that matters at trade-in or resale.

What’s the difference between 1-Step, 2-Step, and Multi-Stage correction?+

1-Step is a single polishing pass that enhances gloss and removes very light swirls and marring. 2-Step adds a compounding stage before polishing, removing moderate swirls, scratches, and oxidation. Multi-Stage is our most thorough process — multiple compounding and polishing passes to remove deep scratches, heavy oxidation, and holograms, maximizing defect removal before a coating or film goes on.

Will paint correction remove all scratches?+

Most surface-level swirls, light scratches, and oxidation can be significantly reduced or removed entirely, depending on how deep they are and which stage of correction you choose. Deeper scratches that have penetrated through the clear coat into the base paint can’t be polished out — those require touch-up paint or a repaint of that panel.

Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating or PPF?+

If your paint has visible swirl marks, light scratches, or oxidation, yes — correction should happen first. A coating or film both lock in whatever condition the paint is in when applied, so correcting the surface beforehand gets you a noticeably better long-term result.

How long does paint correction take?+

A 1-Step enhancement can often be completed in a day. 2-Step and Multi-Stage correction typically take one to three days, depending on the vehicle’s size and paint condition.

Is machine polishing safe for my paint?+

Yes, when done correctly. We measure paint thickness before starting and use the least aggressive method needed to achieve the correction level you’ve chosen, to avoid removing more clear coat than necessary.
